Currently, there are two main projects in which we are involved: DNA Replication and Ribosomal RNA.Past or Present Projects Available:DNA puff amplification in the fly sciara: a path to understanding re-replication control; Role of the Ecdysone hormone receptor in DNA amplification in the fungus fly Sciara coprophila; RPL 32 in cell cycle control; Conserved nucleotide elements in eukaryotic ribosomal RNA; Zinc-finger nuclease-mediated homologous recombination; The identification and characterization of conserved nucleotide elements in ribosomal RNA; An analysis of Eukaryotic Ribosomal protein L32 and Ribosomal RNA in Ribosome Biogenesis and cell cycle control; Steroid hormone regulation of DNA amplification in human breast cancer; Identifying and Quantifying Conserved Nucleotide Elements (CNEs) in Eukaryotic 18S Ribosomal RNA; Sequencing and Origin Mapping of II/2B Locus in Sciara coprophila |
