The starting compounds are iron based with proton sources so that they transfer one electron and one proton at a time. They may serve as new classes of antitumor agents by reducing oxygen and forming DNA damaging compounds in a tumor cell selective manner.Past or Present Projects Available:Synthesis and characterization of new iron based reducing agents that work in water.
