Research Summary

The neurodegeneration in Alzheimer’s disease (AD) characterized by progressive clinical decline in cognitive functions and behavior and the pathologic accumulation of two major lesions in the brain of affected patients: extracellular amyloid plaques and intraneuronal neurofibrillary tangles.
