Research Summary

Research interests are in cardiovascular diseases, in particular, the influence of diets on acute myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury and biomarkers for complications of cardiac surgeries. His has a broad training spanning from light/electron microscopy to molecular and cellular biology of the cardiovascular system.

Past or Present Projects Available:

2011: working on acute myocardial infarction in a pig mode of high fat diet and bioinformatic work on cardiac gene expression in a model of ischemia-reperfusion.

2012: ERK 1/2 Phosphorylation in Regulation of Myocardial Function Following Cardioplegic Arrest
