Research Summary

Protein phosphorylation and signal transduction in Arabidopsis. Using molecular and genetic approaches to gain insight into the mechanisms that control plant growth and development.

Past or Present Projects Available:

Floral and gametophytic roles of protein phosphatase 2A in Arabidopsis; Immunoprecipitation of Protein Phosphatase 2A Complexes; Knocking out phosphatase regulation in Arabidopsis; PP2A: transmission, development and fertilization in single and multiple protein phosphatase 2A mutants; Characterization of putative PP6 regulatory and catalytic subunits in arabidopsis thaliana; The role of PP2A in the regulation of ACS in ethylene biosynthesis; Protein phosphatase regulation of pollen function in arabidopsis; Identifying PP2A regulatory subunits that control ethylene production in Arabid; Beta-Galactosidases 11 and 13 and their Role in Arabidopsis Pollen Tube Extension
