Research Summary

To understand the molecular basis of MAP kinase regulation by its interaction with kinases, via scaffolding proteins, and phosphatases.

Past or Present Projects Available:

Cloning, expression, purification, crystallization and structure modeling of the SPAR PDZ domain; Structural investigation of heuratopoietic protein tyrosine phosphatase using x-ray crystallography; Structure determination of oxidized HePTP; Structural study of spine-associated Rap GTPase-activating protein (SPAR); Structural studies of two cell signaling proteins; Structural Studies of Decaprenylphosphory 1-B-D-ribose 2'-epimerase (DprE)
